Itinerary

  1. Welcome to Madrid

The Bernabéu can wait until tomorrow. Tonight let’s explore Madrid. After being met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, your CEO is on hand with the inside knowledge on where to go before the trip really begins. Take the afternoon to settle in at your own pace, then join your CEO for a walk to Plaza de Cibeles, where fans have climbed the fountain to celebrate every major win for generations. From there, wind through the electric football bars of the city centre — the perfect way to kick off your trip.

  2. Matchday at the Bernabéu

Today's the day. Your VIP Real Madrid matchday begins with access to the Bernabéu Market hospitality area — enjoy buffet dining, relaxed premium seating, soft drinks, a cheeky beer or glass of wine before kickoff. When it's time, take your seat among thousands of passionate fans with panoramic views of the pitch. Round out the day with a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, on matchday or another day depending on kick-off. Depending on kick-off time, your stadium tour may be included on this day. If that's not possible, don’t worry — it’ll be moved to another part of your football trip.

  3. Football the local way

Yesterday: a stadium that's seen more trophies than most clubs manage in a lifetime. Today: see how it all began. A Spanish league match where every seat feels close enough to hear the studs hit the turf between every chant. Afterwards, your CEO gathers the group at a local football bar to catch La Liga fixtures alongside passionate Madrid supporters.

  4. Madrid, off the pitch

Football fix satisfied, start the day slower with a private walking food tour through Madrid's Old Town and Literary Quarter. Tuck into authentic tapas, regional specialties and, of course, chocolate and churros — don't mind if we do, picking up the stories behind each stop along the way. Spend the rest of the day exactly how you want to: revisit a favourite corner of the city, or relax before an optional farewell dinner with your group and CEO, swapping stories and reliving the week.

  5. Departure day

One last breakfast, then it's time to say goodbye to Madrid — though nobody here would blame you for staying a little longer.

Is travel insurance required for my trip?

Travel insurance is compulsory in order to participate on any of our trips. When travelling on a group trip, you will not be permitted to join the group until evidence of travel insurance has been sighted by your leader, who will take note of your insurance details. When selecting a travel insurance policy we require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. A minimum coverage of USD200,000 is required. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. Some tours include adventure activities that require extra coverage (e.g. crampon use); please review your itinerary and make sure that you are covered for all included activities. If you have credit card insurance we require proof of purchase of the trip (a receipt of credit card statement) with a credit card in your name. Contact your bank for details of their participating insurer, the level of coverage and emergency contact telephone number.
